Prescriptions

Patients should contact their pharmacy with each prescription refill request, instructing the pharmacy to electronically submit refill requests to the specific MCH provider. (See Provider Directory to relay that individual provider’s fax number.)

It is important to confirm the exact prescription, the prescribing physician, and their individual fax number, when contacting your pharmacy with all requests related to each prescription since patients often have multiple prescriptions written by more than one physician, and pharmacies communicate electronically with only the ordering physician.

The pharmacy will contact the identified provider on your behalf to obtain authorization from your physician for prescription refills Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If you have a concern regarding your dosage or medication, please contact your physician’s office.  If a change is ordered by your physician, your pharmacy will be apprised of the change.

Prescription Refill Requests

Your pharmacy will electronically contact the Clinic on your behalf to obtain authorization from your physician for your prescription refill. MCH physicians are not available to approve refill requests after normal business hours or on weekends.
