Dr. Shelley Burge joined Medical Clinic of Houston, LLP in September, 2024 and provides comprehensive primary care to adults in Houston, TX. Dr. Burge completed her medical education at McGovern Medical School in her native Houston, where she was recognized with membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed Internal Medicine Residency at Washington University in Saint Louis before returning to Houston to practice at MCH.
At Washington University, Dr. Burge completed the Primary Care Internal Medicine Track, which provided dedicated training in her longstanding interests in preventive care, diagnosis and management of a broad spectrum of common acute and chronic conditions across the life span. After first working as an educator, Shelley Burge choose to pursue a second career in medicine where she could apply her excellent communication skills and her service oriented perspective. Dr. Burge has a strong commitment to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients. She values her relationship with patients, striving to be the trusted physician they can confide in throughout their lifelong healthcare journey.
